This trek around the Jebel Toubkal offers a series of landscapes, villages, altitude trails, hospitality…. Along the route, a genuine dialogue with nature and the most beautiful trails of the Atlas is established.

On Jebel Toubkal we offer you an easy route, with a beautiful hike for acclimatization and preparation to reach 4167 m. We are rewarded for our efforts at the summit dominating the High Atlas.

Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakesh / Asni / Imlil / Refuge Toubkal Transfer by minibus road of Asni to Imlil. Leave the minibus in Imlil and then begin hiking. You gradually climb the mule track that runs along the Imlil Valley, passing through the village of Arem and Sidi Marabout Chamharouch before arrival at the refuge Toubkal 3200 m.

Night and dinner at the shelter / 5 hours walking.

Day 2: Refuge Toubkal / Summit Toubkal / Imlil Early departure for the ascent of Jebel  Toubkal, Morocco’s highest peak where you get a panoramic view of the Atlas mountains and the plain Haouz. Back at the shelter, after lunch then down to Imlil.

Night and dinner at the inn / 8 hours walking.

Day 3: Imlil / Tizi Mzik / Tamasoult / Tizi Oussem You gradually climb to reach the Tizi Mzik at 2400m from where you have a beautiful view of the valley Ait Mizan. After the pass, you will continue along a path in the middle of a juniper forest to join the sheepfold of Tamsoult, Picnic lunch and departure for the village of Tamsoult.

Night and dinner at the lodge / 5 hours walking.
