During this trek you will live for 5 days with local people, see their daily life and, of course, spend nights in their welcoming houses.

The authenticity of a preserved area, the meeting with Berbers people and beautiful views of the mountains of Toubkal. This special program is dedicated to discover the Berber culture and the splendid nature of Toubkal.

The Moroccan Atlas is a beautiful country well known with high mountain and varied valleys inhabited by friendly people who kept an ancestral lifestyle and unforgettable traditions as long as we must take the time to: stop, look, listening, speaking, savor and share.

Itinerary

Day One: Marrakech

On your first day, you will arrive at Marrakech airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day Two: Marrakech-Asni- Imioughlad – Tacht -Ait Aissa Pass (1950m)

After a short transfer 1:30, we reach the village Imi Ooughlad, mountain village and true gateway to Toubkal. This is where we meet the mule that brings our luggage. We begin our hike by the discovery of the ingenuity of the Berber mountaineers, followed by an easy path we climb slowly towards the neck Tacht (2000m). superb views over the village. Then an hour descent we reach the village of Ait Aissa, in a valley with many earth tones, night homestay.

Day Three: Ait Aissa (1950m) – Tisi Oussem- Cascades Tamssoult -back to the house in Tisi Oussem

After breakfast, we follow our way to the village of Tizi Oussem, always higher Pursuit to the sheep and waterfalls Tamsoulte (2400m), lunch (Berber salad with sardines or tuna or canned mackerel, orange, always followed by the mint tea), good nap in the sun under the spray of the waterfall and then downhill along the same path back to Tizi Oussem. Night at the lodge with the locals. 5 hours walk.

Day Four: Tizi Oussem- Mzik Pass (2450 m) – Aremd (1900m)

We leave this beautiful valley to gain altitude, we follow a very beautiful trail at the foot of Toubkal mountain with several views of the valley Azzaden. After 2:30 hours of walking, we reach the pass of Mzik to 2450m altitude. We descend towards the beautiful valley of Imlil and its green valley landscape amidst terraced orchards continuation to the village Aremd. In the afternoon, we will climb to the marabout Chamharouch Toubkal on the way back to our house to Aremd.

 Day Five: Aremd – Tamatert Pass (2200 m) – City and Tinghrine Ouenskra (2050 m)

For a wide path, sometimes in the shade of walnut trees and Aleppo pines, we reach the Tizi N’Tamatert 2200m with superb views of the valley Imnane. Get through the cervix, Tachdirte villages, and Tamguist Ouenskra with their stone houses and land nested within each other, like a house of cards, will not fail to charm us.

Day Six : Ounssakra (2050m) -Tizi Do Addi (2900m) -Oukaimden- Oussartek

We follow the path that leads to the Col de Addi (2900m), where a splendid panoramic view is offered on the villages and mountain passes crossed the previous days. Lunch near a source and opportunity to visit the rock carvings of Okaimden. Descend a path lined with juniper thurifaires to the valley of Ossertek.

Day Seven: Oussertek – Imsker -Imi Oughlad-Asni – Marrakech

Descent in the morning by the village Imsker on Imenane Valley, El Bour Pass which leads us by a good mule trail, in a juniper forest and oaks to the village Oughlad Imi (1400m). Lunch by the river and end of the hike. Back to Marrakech.

Day Eight : Return flight

Transfer to the airport and departure.
