Ourigane is nestled in the tranquil foothills of the High Atlas Mountains in the heart of the Toubkal National Park ans it boasts magnificent views of the High Atlas range along with out door activities ranging from hiking, walking, horse-riding and mountain biking. A wide variety of birdlife awaits you. Located on the valley floor of the Oued ‘River’ Nfis, Ourigane is situated 1,000 meters above sea level.
Itinerary
Depart at 8:30 by road through Tahanaout and Asni (If it is a Tuesday or a Saturday, Then You can visit the souk (market) at Tahnaout gold Asni. Your guides Will Be more than happy to take you and show you around. You can admire beautiful landscapes and hidden Berber villages.
Once you get to Ouirgan Village, you will travel around the vast ancient forest of Ouirgan, passing many other Berber villages and abodes. Some of the trees in the forests of North Africa can grow up to 55 meters in height. You may find examples of the Atlas Cedar, the Algerian Oak or the Black European Pine.
Enjoy beautiful walks in a natural, wild and in its pure state. The site offers panoramic views overlooking the beautiful landscape of the region.
